Carol Jones
Carol Jones trained and worked as a secondary English and Drama teacher. After teaching for eight years, she moved into publishing. Firstly as editor of Challenge, a subscription children’s magazine, then as Publisher and Managing Editor of Comet, Explore, Challenge and Pursuit.
Whilst working for the magazines, Carol turned her hand to writing cartoon scripts and challenging non-fiction pieces for teenagers. It was a natural progression to begin writing fiction and while this remains her first love, she has also written a series of hardback non-fiction for the library market.
Carol now combines her freelance magazine work with her writing. She lives in Melbourne.
