Michael Cooke
Michael Cooke considers himself lucky. He gets paid to design exquisite gardens and to acquire beautiful things for appreciative clients. Michael feels that there is more to a garden than just plants. That a garden should look lived in: kids in the tree house, dogs asleep on the verandah, clean white sheets drying on the line - simple pleasures.
Michael’s book Time in the Garden was published in 2002. He lives in New South Wales.

Time in the Garden
A garden is only as good as the time you spend in it. Michael Cooke believes that gardens are to be lived in, not simply admired. His approach to landscape design combines an impeccable sense of style with an intimate knowledge of plants, but his focus is always on the personal.
