2007 Melbourne Writer's Festival Highlights

Be sure to get your tickets for the 2007 Melbourne Writer's Festival which runs from August 24 - September 2. Highlights of this year's exciting program include the launch of Steven Conte's excellent debut novel, The Zookeeper's War, Meme McDonald will participate in sessions on truth and love in fiction, Alison Croggon will discuss her role as a poet against the war, Gaylene Perry will join David McCooey in a conversation about water, Caroline Lurie will present a moving tribute to Elizabeth Jolley, who died earlier this year, Humphrey McQueen will join fellow historian A.C Grayling in a discussion on the politics of atheism, and Dorothy Porter will join a stellar group of poets and writers in celebrating the work of W.H Auden.
